Nick Ward


Nick WardNick Ward is probably the most versatile songwriter to come out of Wales in a very long time. A songwriter with a sound all his own, Ward's beautifully crafted songs are filled not only with melody and passion, but also with an edge to set them apart from the plethora of sound-alikes currently awash in our stratosphere.

Signed to AudioFile Records in 2009, Nick has released two albums, an e.p. and a selection of singles, with an eagerly anticipated third album due in Spring 2012.

Nick has gained regular radio play, both national and international, including interviews and live sessions on BBC Radio Wales & 6Music, accompanied by some fantastic local musical talent, including Rob Griffiths (drums), Chris Bastian (guitar), Robbie Jenkins (bass), Tom Price (drums) and Colin Baker (bass).

Lisa Polson
Recommended to us in early 2009, we couldn't resist the sultry vocals and heartfelt lyrics of Lisa Polson. This Aberdeen based singer / songwriter has now released two singles via AudioFile records and her debut album is currently being mixed.Lisa can regularly be seen performing at venues around her home town and also took part in the Kintyre Songwriters Festival for the second year running, no mean feat for someone who has been performing for just over a year.Lisa is rapidly winning an army of fans with her beautifully accented vocals and will definitely be one to watch out for. Atheen
Atheen is a highly experienced artist having played to huge crowds in the UK, Germany and The Far East. She also has TV appearances under her belt and is a producer for a number of other artists.Atheen has certainly paid her dues as a musician, having often performed 150+ gigs per year.
